Dr. Nicole Young

Dr. Nicole Young brings together a passion for veterinary medicine and advanced dental care to help improve the health and quality of life of her patients. Originally from Wisconsin and later calling Arizona home, she has built her career around providing compassionate, high-quality care for companion animals.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Arizona State University before returning to Wisconsin to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015.

After veterinary school, Dr. Young returned to Arizona, where she spent several years practicing small animal medicine. Throughout her career, she developed a strong interest in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery, appreciating the significant impact oral health has on an animal’s comfort, overall wellness, and the bond shared between pets and their families.

Driven to provide the highest level of specialized care, Dr. Young joined Raintree Dentistry & Oral Surgery’s Residency and Training Program. Through this advanced program, she is completing the extensive education and clinical training required to become a board-certified veterinary dental specialist.

When she’s away from the clinic, Dr. Young enjoys running, experimenting with new recipes, crafting, and spending time with her fiancé, Colin, and their Husky/Border Collie mix, Ava, affectionately known as “Princess Black Toe.”
