Dr. Kurtis Boon
Dr. Kurtis Boon is dedicated to providing advanced dental and oral surgical care that improves both the health of his patients and the experience of the families who love them. His commitment to clinical excellence, combined with a compassionate approach, allows him to deliver personalized care for every patient. Dr. Boon believes successful treatment begins with educating and partnering with pet owners. He values open communication and strives to ensure every family understands their pet’s condition, treatment options, and recovery process, creating confidence and peace of mind every step of the way.
He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. After graduation, Dr. Boon completed a rigorous small animal rotating internship in emergency and specialty medicine at VCA West Los Angeles, where he gained extensive experience managing complex medical and surgical cases. The opportunity to train just a short drive from the California coastline was an added bonus during his internship year.
Dr. Boon continued his advanced training by completing a residency in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery at Colorado State University. Throughout his residency, he performed hundreds of advanced oral and maxillofacial procedures while training alongside nationally recognized leaders in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery.
Originally from Arizona, Dr. Boon is thrilled to return to his home state and serve pets throughout the Scottsdale and Phoenix communities as a member of the Raintree Dentistry and Oral Surgery team. He also looks forward to collaborating with referring veterinarians to provide comprehensive, specialized care. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Boon enjoys spending time with his wife, and together they are excited to welcome pets into their growing family in the years ahead.
