Dr. Gwenn Schamberger
Dr. Gwenn Schamberger earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2005. She began her career as a small animal general practitioner in San Antonio, Texas, before pursuing advanced specialty training. Dr. Schamberger went on to complete a residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of Illinois, after which she gained additional experience at the Animal Dental Center and Animal Dental Training Center in Maryland. In 2009, she achieved board certification as a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College™.
For more than a decade, Dr. Schamberger served as the staff veterinary dentist and oral surgeon at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center, where she cared for patients and mentored colleagues in advanced oral health care. She has since relocated to the Southwest, where she continues to share her passion for veterinary dentistry. While she enjoys every aspect of the field, her special interests include advanced periodontal surgery and seeing the rewarding outcomes at follow-up visits, when pets are healthier and more comfortable.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Schamberger enjoys exploring new recipes, playing tennis, traveling, and hiking.
